Brought to you by the letter "S"

It has been forever since I posted, my brother has threatened to take me off of his RSS Feed. We can't have that, so here is a quick update, brought to you by the letter "S"

Semester
The first semester of my second year of graduate school is officially over! I am looking forward to a month off with blog posting and sleeping!
So You Think You Can Dance!
Yep that is right, So you came to SLC and I was able to go! I haven't had a chance to watch this season, but I was all about last season. The dances were amazing! It was so much fun!
Sweaters
We had an ugly sweater party... Let's just say, who needs a bedassler, when you have sequins and a hot glue gun!! I did burn my finger a few times, but it was totally worth it!
Stereo
My car stereo broke so I have been rolling down the streets with my ipod hooked up to $7 mini speakers... lets just say, it is boomin!
Sparkles
I was so excited about getting the Christmas Tree out this year!! It is one of my favorite things to just sit around the tree and chat with my friends!
Salad
My contribution to Thanksgiving Dinner. We had an amazing meal!!

Side Ponytails
For Halloween my friend Sarah and I were ready for a party in the 80's
Sorry about the delay between posts! Hopefully you are all having a wonderful holiday season.

Fireworks and Music!

So I am all done with finals and it has been a great semester! Here are just a few of the activities that have been going on...

For the 24th of July we went to the Bee's Game! We heard as we were walking out the door that the game was canceled! We decided to go anyway because we wanted to see the fireworks. I guess the game was canceled because a member of the other team was sick... I never read what exactly happened because I am pretty sure that is why you have people on the bench. Right?? We ended up getting tickets to another Bee's Game, a Jazz game and an event at the Miller Sports Park! Happy Pioneer Day!

Last night I went to a Priscilla Ahn's Concert at the Murry Center Theater. It was amazing!
I am going to do nothing but play and relax for the next few weeks!!!

One down!!!

Both of these cupcakes are goners, but one of my finals for this summer semester is over! I just have one take home final left! I don't know if anyone else remembers how good it feels to finish a final... to know that after you turn that paper in all of the books, and articles and things that you had to memorize can be thrown away! The cupcakes are red velvet with an amazing cream cheese frosting! YUMMY! They were a study snack from Erika!! I have the greatest friends!

I also got to go to Turlock, CA to visit Anjanette's family and for Jackson's Blessing over the 4th of July. James, Spencer and Dad got the kite out! It was a quick trip, and so much fun to see everyone!

The last two weeks in numbers...

1 - Number of times I wore my shirt inside-out and backwards to the gym. - Don't worry I figured it out just as my spin class was starting, and decided to just roll with it!
2 - Number of airplanes I have been on in the last few weeks! I got to go to California and see James, Anjanette, Jackson and my Mom
7 - Number of days I had to live without my FAVORITE water bottle because I left it in my Health Economics class last week - Doesn't seem like a big deal, but I missed that bottle!
8 - Number of pounds Jackson weighed at his two week appointment! He is such a cute little guy and it was so fun to see him!
9 - Number of pints of raspberries I have eaten in the last two weeks! Including for the first time, golden raspberries! YUMMY!!
14 - Miles from Irvine to Laguna Beach - Hill, Lil, Owen, Tessa and I had a great time at the beach playing in the sand and the waves!

34 - Number of Direct TV channels Jet Blue offers on flights. I haven't had two hours to just sit back and watch TV in FOREVER! It was great!

It happened again...

Over a month has gone by since I have posted... In the week and a half that I had off from school, I told myself I would post and it didn't happen. Now I am here over a month later! Classes are in full swing now we will see how consistent I can be! Here are some highlights... It has been a great few months!!! We will start backwards with the most recent activities first

First - Jackson Lawrence Paul was born on May 29th. I was on a date when I got the text... I didn't care about the dating rules - don't have your phone on, don't read text messages, don't answer your phone... I broke them all!! I was so excited! I can't wait to go down there on the 11th! It can't come fast enough!!

Second
- MDB - It was another successful Memorial Day Breakfast in Oak City! Here are a few of my favorite pictures!
Jack couldn't get enough of this motorcycle!
Gracie, Lilly and their Ace Hardware snowcones
Henry with a tasty sourdough pancake, ham, and egg breakfast! My favorite breakfast of the year!

Third - I have wanted to go to the Tulip Festival since I moved to Utah... I have been here three years and it finally happened this year! I went with Pam, Rick, Mary, Brady, and Grandma Smith! It was beautiful... it rained a bit, but we survived!
I guess that is the quick update!
